Anheuser-Busch praised for patriotic Budweiser Super Bowl ad after Bud Light controversy
Am I the only one tired of this?

Budweiser and parent company Anheuser-Busch are garnering praise online for their new 2026 Super Bowl ad and the patriotism it displays.

Budlight, another beer brand Anheuser-Busch owns, created a wave of backlash when it gave a custom beer can to transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney in March 2023. Sales of the beer dropped drastically in the weeks after the partnership, and Anheuser-Busch cut ties with the third-party ad agency at the center of the collaboration.

Budweiser released its new Super Bowl ad on Monday, with a horse helping a small eagle as it grows up and learns how to fly as Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” plays in the background. The ad prompted Fox News’s Laura Ingraham to say Anheuser-Busch “learned the lesson,” to which Jimmy Fallia, host of Fox News Saturday Night with Jimmy Fallia, suggested the beer company is trying to say, “I’m sorry.”

“We wanted beer in a cardboard case; Dylan Mulvaney was beer in a mental case. Nobody asked for that, so they’re kind of resetting the shot clock: Clydesdale’s good, Eagle’s good. OK, because if we learned anything from the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, he was not what beer drinkers meant when they asked the bartender for a cold one with some nuts,” Fallia joked on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle on Tuesday.

Multiple users on X also praised the commercial, with one user saying he is “officially ending my Budweiser boycott.” Bussin’ with the Boys, one of the many podcasts President Donald Trump appeared on ahead of the 2024 election, also reposted the ad with the United States flag.

“After watching this amazingly patriotic commercial, I’m officially ending my Budweiser boycott! What about you?” A user on X said.
