James Talarico vs. Jasmine Crockett chances of beating Texas Republicans
Transparency shouldn't be controversial.

A new Republican internal poll has tested Talarico and Crockett against top Texas Republicans and found different paths to a competitive general election, with outside public polling showing the GOP field likely headed to a runoff.
The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) poll suggests Attorney General Ken Paxton could be more vulnerable than Senator John Cornyn, while independent public polling indicates Talarico leads the Democratic primary and both Democrats run close to Paxton in head-to-heads.
Cornryn vs Talarico = Cornryn +3
Paxton vs Talarico = Talarico +3
Cornryn vs Crockett = Cornryn +7
Paxton vs Crockett = Paxton +1
“Texas cannot be taken for granted,” according to a blunt warning in an NRSC memo on the poll.
"The Republican nominee must be able to both consolidate the base and hold persuadable voters," the NRSC memo says. "Our data shows only one candidate meets that threshold: John Cornyn."
Do you think Cornryn or Paxton will win their respective primaries? Talarico or Crockett for theirs? Why is the NRSC publishing a poll showing them in a poor position?
