“Metro Surge” winds down in Minnesota
Who's accountable for the results?

(Bill Glahn) All good things must end.

From the New York Post,

Border czar Tom Homan announces end of ICE surge in Minnesota

Homan announced that he will remain in Minnesota to oversee the winddown. The Post quotes Homan,

With the success that has been made in arresting public safety threats and other priorities since this surge operation began, as well as the unprecedented levels of coordination we have obtained from state officials and local law enforcement, I have proposed, and President Trump has concurred, that this surge operation conclude.

A significant drawdown has already been underway this week and will continue into next week.

With ICE agents now able to pick up criminal illegal aliens at the jailhouse door, thousands of agents are simply not needed on the streets.

Like a traveling circus, the “surge” will move on. The U.K. Daily Mail reports,

Homan also announced that ICE was able to rescue thousands of unaccompanied migrant children during the operation.

‘ICE here in this state have located 3,364 missing unaccompanied alien children, children the last administration lost and weren’t even looking for,’ he said.

It was reported earlier this month that Operation Metro Surge had nabbed over 4,000 illegal aliens.

Yet, the Daily Mail spins these accomplishments into “Trump surrenders.”
