Trump endorsement tracker: Here’s who the president has picked in GOP midterm election primaries
Same show, different day.

President Donald Trump has moved early to shape the GOP field as Republicans head into the 2026 elections, issuing over 200 endorsements across the U.S. Senate, House, and state legislative races.

Republicans hold a narrow majority in the House, and the party risks losing control of the chamber if Democrats net just a handful of seats.

Trump’s endorsements are largely aimed at protecting incumbents and clearing primary fields while also backing Republicans running in Democrat-held districts and states.

Alabama

Trump has endorsed Rep. Barry Moore for Alabama’s open Senate seat left by Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), who is running for governor and also received the president’s endorsement in that venture.

Trump has endorsed Reps. Mike Rogers, Robert Aderholt, Dale Strong, and Gary Palmer.

At the state level, vice chairman of the Republican National Committee John Wahl has secured Trump’s endorsement for lieutenant governor.

Alaska

Trump has endorsed Sen. Dan Sullivan for reelection.

Trump has endorsed Rep. Nick Begich.

Arizona

Arizona will not hold a Senate race during this election cycle.

Trump has endorsed Reps. Eli Crain, Juan Ciscomani, Abraham Hamadeh, and Paul Gosar. He has also endorsed Mark Lamb. In Arizona’s 1st Congressional District, Trump issued dual endorsements in the same primary, backing both Gina Swoboda and Jay Feely.

Arkansas

Trump has endorsed Sen. Tom Cotton for reelection.

Trump has endorsed Reps. Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack, and Bruce Westerman.

For Arkansas governor, Trump has endorsed Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders for reelection. Sanders has already won the primary elections and will take on two Democratic challengers in November.

California

California will not hold a Senate race during this election cycle.

Trump has endorsed challenger Kevin Lincoln II and Reps. Vince Fong, Jay Obernolte, Darell Issa, and Tom McClintock to represent California in the House.

Colorado

While Trump has not endorsed a candidate in the Colorado Senate race, several Republican candidates are running. State representative Mark Baisley is among the Republicans seeking the seat, but he has not received an endorsement from the president.

Trump has endorsed Reps. Lauren Boebert, Jeff Hurd, Jeff Crank, and Gabe Evans.

Connecticut

Connecticut will hold races for its five House seats, governor, state House, Senate, and several other state legislative offices.

The state has voted primarily for Democrats since 2006. …
