How am I supposed to know what is good news?
What would you do if you ran things?

I don't know hardly anything about politics. I want to subscribe to a newspaper or magazine and then continuously read that as a news source, but I'm worried it's going to be too biased or make claims that are generally unsubstantiated. I also want some analysis and in-depth reporting. Reuters is fine for daily news and is reliable but doesn't go into depth. I've heard that The New Yorker, The Atlantic, The Economist, The New York Times, ProPublica, The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, etc. are good but I don't know which one to pick. I want to be informed and know what's going on in the world. Not just that but also why it is happening, who it is affecting, the bigger picture, ya know. What the hell do I do?
